Tom Fotinos

The Fotinos Brothers Winery rings of sweet destiny for President Tom Fotinos, especially when you consider that at the tender age of ten, Tom unveiled his very own recipe for wine making through a fifth grade elementary school report. This essay came relatively easy for the Napa Valley native, who had already mastered disking the family vineyard and creating fine wines under the tutelage of his father, Tom, and his grandfather, Christos-- who had cultured the art in his homeland of Greece and proudly shared this time-honored craft from generation-to-generation.

Now a 4th generation vintner, Tom Fotinos has been farming the Fotinos Vineyard and producing a private label Pinot Noir for over a quarter century. Always looking for ways to elevate his craft, Tom studied viticulture at Napa College and has also been mentored in fine wine making by some of the most respected names in the industry. Tom credits Jac Cole of Spring Mountain Winery, with having a significant impact on his progression to Master Wine Maker. Their friendship, combined knowledge and craftsmanship has truly made Fotinos Brothers wines something very, very special.

Away from the vineyard, Tom serves as superintendent for a construction company that specializes in building custom homes throughout Napa Valley. Mr. Fotinos boasts 20 years of expert carpentry and business experience, making him an invaluable asset to the organization.

On August 31, 2002, Tom married his wife, Danielle, in Lake Tahoe, California. It was a match made in wine country heaven, as Danielle also had a viticulture background and an enormous passion for the art. So, the happy couple decided to spend their honeymoon doing one of the things they have come to love whole-heartedly--harvesting the Fotinos vineyard.

Mr. and Mrs. Tom Fotinos are the proud parents of their first child, daughter Charlie, born in December of 2006. Charlie may very well be the first member of the 5th generation of Fotinos vintners. The Fotinos family resides in the city of Napa.
