Fotinos Brothers wines are a culmination of 115 years of traditional family wine making, spanning four generations. This Cabernet Sauvignon is grown in a small, single vineyard, in the famous Rutherford wine appellation. Warm mid-valley days and cool, nights create the ideal microclimate for this exceptional Cabernet. Our uncompromising viticulture techniques yield deeply concentrated and complex grapes, rich in flavor. After being hand selected and sorted they are barrel aged, in new French oak, for 22 months. The reward is a full-bodied Cabernet with firm tannins and a well-developed bouquet. Tasting Notes:

This wine is fruit forward expressing the terroir of deep, well drained soils. The palate displays solid tannin structure ,with a bright acid backbone and a continuation of berry flavors such as ripe black cherry and cassis demonstrated in the aromas. With a nuances of dark oak and spice this Cabernet balances out with a flowing, silky finish.
