Dr. Christopher J. Fotinos

As a child, raised in California's legendary Napa Valley, Chris Fotinos developed a tremendous passion and respect for learning the intricacies and delicate nature of growing and producing a signature Pinot Noir. A proud 4th generation vintner, Chris brings to your table a wealth of wine making techniques passed down by his father, Tom, and his grandfather, Christos before him, to the Fotinos Brothers Winery label.

In his persistent pursuit of wine perfection, Chris Fotinos has traveled extensively throughout France, Italy, and Spain, to better familiarize himself with the premiere samplings of each region, while paying special attention as to how they are cultivated. Dr. Fotinos has honed his focus on the world-renowned Burgundy region of France, and in particular, the heritage of Pinot Noir. This international influence, coupled with over 100 years of Fotinos family wine making expertise, is evident in the unique character you find in every hand-crafted, select bottle of Fotinos Brothers Pinot Noir.

A graduate of San Diego State University in 1987 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and a minor in Chemistry, Chris Fotinos entered Dental School and went on to complete his Doctorate in Dental Surgery in 1990. Even during his nine years in college, Chris routinely returned to Napa Valley to work in the vineyard and aid in the wine making process.

Since 1992 to the present, Chris has owned and operated his Cosmetic Dental practice in Orange County, California. Dr. Fotinos has served as a Dental Consultant for Major League Baseball's Anaheim Angels, Team Dentist for the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim, and as a member of the National Hockey League's Team Physicians Society.

In September of 2003, Chris married his wife, Leesa, in Fiesole, Italy. Chris proudly shares, "We wanted to be married in a romantic wine region and Tuscany seemed to be a perfect choice." The newlyweds spent weeks touring the Italian wine appellations, staying at several wineries, and experiencing the art of Italian wine making.

Chris Fotinos will utilize the knowledge gleaned from his travels, his Biology and Chemistry degrees, and his business and financial management expertise, to act as the Director of Sales and Marketing for Fotinos Brother's Winery.

Dr. Fotinos adds, "The challenges of growing Pinot Noir are endless, but the reward is timeless."

Chris and Leesa Fotinos reside in Hollywood, California, with their Jack Russell Terriers, Baxter and Libby.
