Welcome to Fotinos Brothers Winery! The Fotinos family started making wine more than 120 years ago and has continued to master their proven technique for four generations. The Fotinos Brothers Winery Carneros Estate has a rich source of 25-year-old vines, which limit the yields and produce intense, premium quality fruit. Our fine wine-making heritage dictates that we employ natural vineyard principles: minimal intervention and maximum vine management, with a strong emphasis on "terroir". Subsequently, we use little or no water, fertilizer, or chemicals and strive to be 100% organic. The colossal characteristics of our Carneros location, combined with ideal microclimate, moderately fertile soil, and clone/rootstock selection, allows Fotinos Brothers Winery to produce world-class wine that captures the bountiful uniqueness of our vineyards. We would like to proudly announce an exciting new addition to our vineyard. A fourteen foot steel sculpture "VaVoom" by Bret Price (see photo on right). This magnificent piece of art represents the bottle flow of Pinot Noir frozen in space for all to enjoy. Since 1979 Bret has been creating these sculptures by building heating chambers around large pieces of steel, applying concentrated, intense heat, then manipulating the material to create a sense of softness. When the heat is removed, the illusions of flow are frozen in time.
